Wow—look at the changes Britton has made!
New Library

For the young and old avid readers and information wizards, a new
library was built. It offers large print books, audio books, videos,
internet access, fax & copy machines and a comfortable reading area with
coffee!

New Swimming Pool
A favorite attraction is the new swimming pool
located right in the heart of the city. It features a 150’ water slide, 2
diving boards, zero depth entry and Jr. Olympic swimming area with lanes! A
playground and concession area are also part of the complex.

New Gymnasium
Another new attraction is the newly constructed
auditorium built onto the east side of the Britton Public School. This
amazing complex has a 22,000 square foot wood floor, seating for over 2200,
geo-thermo heating and cooling system, easy access to Amacher Auditorium as
well as a new wrestling room, concession area and a weight lifting/exercise
room with convenient community access.

New Sports Complex

You will see lots of activity on the newly designed
baseball/softball tri-complex located on the south edge of Britton. A new
concession area with shelters makes attending those tournaments much more
enjoyable.

New Rehabilitation and Wellness Center
The
medical industry in Britton has also made some changes. The Marshall
County Healthcare Center has completed an 8400 sq. ft addition
designed to enhance the outpatient programs and services including physical
therapy, cardiac and orthopedic rehabilitation, and a wellness/fitness
center for community use.
